Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging is accepting applications for the position of Eligibility Specialist. Applicants will be responsible for screening potential eligibility and helping low-income individuals enroll in benefits programs including Medicare Part D Extra Help, Medicare Savings Program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, and Medicaid. Qualifications for this position are a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience in benefits administration preferred but not required. The Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging is seeking an independent contractor to provide case management and assessment services in Doniphan and North Brown counties. This individual will provide services to older adults and persons with disabilities. Qualifications for this position are a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major in gerontology, nursing, health, social work, counseling, human development, or family studies, or a Registered Professional Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Kansas. NEKAAA General Public Transportation is accepting applications for Full-Time driver in Holton , Part-Time Driver and Backup Driver in Hiawatha, Holton and Washington locations.
As needed:  Monday – Friday, hours vary
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass NCIC criminal background check, DOT Physical and drug screening
Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 100 lbs.
