Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging is excited to join the Hiawatha Community Foundation for this amazing fundraising opportunity.
Be sure to save the date for the first annual Give Back to Move Forward Hiawatha Match Day! From May 29th through 30th, all qualifying donations made through the foundation to participating organizations will receive a 50% match, up to a maximum of $1,500, that will be added to their HCF fund. In-person donations can be made at the Fisher Community Center on May 29th from 9 am to 5 pm and again at the Hiawatha Country Club on May 30th from 12 pm to 6 pm. Online donations will also be accepted from May 29th at 12 am to May 30th at 11:59 pm. 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event
Exciting news! Meals on Wheels network is participating in the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event. Over the past twelve years, Subaru and its retailers have helped Meals on Wheels to deliver more than 2.3 million meals nationwide to seniors in need. This November 19, 2020, through January 4, 2021, for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased, Subaru will donate $250 to the customer’s choice of participating charities.

Do you like free fresh fruits and vegetables? Farmers Market Voucher booklets are still available. The booklet value is $35 and will have 7 vouchers that are $5 each. Vouchers can be used all across the state of Kansas at any eligible Farmers Market. To receive a booklet you must be age 60+ years and meet income guidelines.
